Ed Scanlan

Mr. Scanlan received his B.A. in communications from the University of Scranton (1999) and his Masters in Multicultural Education from Eastern University (2009). He has been an instructor of social studies on the grade school and high school levels for the last 17 years and has his PA teaching certification in social studies grades 4-8 and 7-12 and citizenship education 7-12. He has taught U.S. history, government, African-American studies, behavioral studies, world geography, as well as Advanced Placement courses in human geography, psychology, and capstone research. One of his favorite things to do is travel and he has been to five continents and over 30 countries! Mr. Scanlan loves to use his expertise of various cultures to further students' knowledge of the world in today’s globalized society.
