Grace B. Opdyke

Grace is a graduate of Gwynedd Mercy College with degrees in both Special and Elementary Education. Early in her career, Mrs. Opdyke taught at a variety of levels in the archdiocesan school system. After tutoring students privately in many subject areas, Grace decided “to hang her shingle” officially as a private tutor. Early in her tutoring career, she saw the need for standardized test instruction for grade school students preparing to take the high school placement tests for area private and archdiocesan schools. Grace developed and implemented a one of a kind preparation program for the Scholastic Testing Service’s HSPT test. She also provided one on one instruction for the ISEE and SSAT exams. Her wealth of knowledge grows in both the high school and college admissions processes as she continues her research in an effort to provide clear and updated information to students and parents.
