Kristin Shoemaker

Ms. Shoemaker earned a B.S. in Psychology from Chestnut Hill College, her M.S. in Higher Education Counseling/Student Affairs from West Chester University, and a Pennsylvania Certificate in Secondary School Counseling from West Chester University. With over 20 years of experience in secondary and college education, Ms. Shoemaker has spent much of her career teaching classes on study skills, essay writing, SAT/ACT prep, and psychology. She has conducted workshops for parents and students on applying to college, financial aid/scholarships, and making the most of a college visit. She is experienced in using Naviance, the Common Application, and completing the FAFSA and PHEAA application process. Ms. Shoemaker also has extensive experience with the US Service Academy nomination and application process. Ms. Shoemaker currently offers college counseling, English, Study Skills, and test prep sessions for the SAT and ACT.
